Ryan Smith

Ryan has been a PGA Member for 7 years after completing his traineeship at Newcastle Golf Club where he won the PGA National Futures Championship.  During this time he has worked for two major golf companies, Titleist and TaylorMade gaining extensive training in club fitting and club technology.

Ryan brings this experience to Charlestown Golf Club offering specialised club fitting knowledge to anyone wanting to purchase new equipment.  Ryan also spent several years playing throughout Australia, USA & Canada and has a vast knowledge of the game and all aspects to pass on through lessons.

Janelle Smith

Janelle moved to Newcastle from Cowra 10 years ago to join Ryan.  Janelle's golfing experience ranges from being part of NSW and Australian Teams and Squads, winning Australian titles and playing at the highest level to working for Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation and helping to develop Junior Golf Programs throughout NSW.

Janelle brings this experience to Charlestown and with Ryan hopes to grow the Junior membership by offering our industry knowledge and revamping the Junior Program.  Janelle also offers ladies clinics from beginners to competent players and encourages all ladies any age and level wanting to take up the game.

We both welcome all players to an inviting friendly atmosphere in the Pro Shop and provide the highest quality service to everyone at Charlestown Golf Club.
